As an international swimmer, Penny Heyns established herself as the world’s greatest female breaststroker of the 20th century by becoming the only woman in Olympic history to win both the 100 and 200 meter breaststroke events and by breaking 14 individual world records during her career. 1013314_2

Her experiences, both while training internationally while in US and Canada with some of the most successful athletes in those respective countries, and while competing at the forefront of international competition, have given her unparallel insights into what it takes to get to the top, and more importantly, how to stay there.

Not only has Penny widely addressed South African audiences but spoken internationally as far as abroad as the USA, Canada, Australia, Sri-Lanka, Dubai, as well as in neighbouring African countries like Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland.

For all people, regardless of race, creed, colour, age or gender, Penny brings a dynamic, powerful message of hope, inspiration and upliftment which empowers people to take complete control of their lives, relise their untapped potential and fulfil their material and spiritual destiny.

Mark Twain Once Said, "It takes more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.”

While even the most gifted presenter has to work at it, some are naturals at the podium, quickly capturing the crowd’s attention and leaving a lasting impression on every listener.    Penny is one such speaker!

Swimming is an individual and often very lonely sport. Much like life, it requires certain key elements in order to attain success -elements such as sacrifice, perseverance and single-minded focus. This presentation will shed light on what it takes to make it to the top of one of the worlds toughest sporting disciplines, how to stay there, and how those same principles relate and apply to business and life in general. It will inspire the listener to believe in his or her own potential, show you how to turn disappointment into victory and most importantly, live a life in pursuit of personal excellence.

This is the Millennium of the mind and the Century of the brain. The only way that people and organisations will maintain their competitive advantage in a rapidly changing world is if they can out‐think, out‐learn and out‐create their competition. Thinking, learning and creativity are the main functions of the brain. This makes mental power the primary determining factor for success in this millennium, hence the reason for a new framework when looking at people development. During this high impact one or two day workshops, participants will experience a neuro‐scientific approach towards discovering their unique potential as indicated by an 18‐page brain profile. This profile is intended to empower them to accurately understand themselves, their neurological design and what their unique learning and thinking preferences are. Andre and Penny will thereafter explore how understanding yourself, discovering your purpose and developing mental power will become your competitive edge!
